1. Introduction
These terms govern your use of the rident.lk website. By browsing the site or submitting an enquiry, you accept them.
Terms governing a specific engagement are set out in the individual contract signed with that client, which takes precedence over this page.
2. Services described
The services described on this site — across Rident Labs and Rident Studio — are general descriptions of what we offer. They are not an offer capable of acceptance and do not form a contract.
The exact scope, timeline, deliverables and price of any engagement are defined in a written proposal and contract agreed with that client.
3. Intellectual property
All content on this website — text, design, code, graphics and the Rident name and logo — belongs to Rident unless stated otherwise, and may not be reproduced without written permission.
Ownership of work produced for clients is governed by the relevant client contract. Our standard position is that deliverables transfer to the client on final payment.
4. Payment terms
Fees, payment schedules and invoicing terms are agreed per engagement and set out in the client contract. Projects generally run on a staged payment schedule tied to delivery milestones.
Nothing on this website constitutes a quote or a fixed price.
5. Confidentiality
We treat client information as confidential from the first conversation, whether or not a non-disclosure agreement has been signed.
Detailed confidentiality obligations are set out in NDAs and client contracts rather than on this page.
6. Limitation of liability
This website is provided on an as-is basis. While we work to keep it accurate and available, we do not warrant that it will be error-free or uninterrupted.
To the extent permitted by law, Rident is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website. Liability relating to delivered services is governed by the applicable client contract.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, and the courts of Sri Lanka have exclusive jurisdiction, unless a client contract specifies otherwise.
8. Contact
To raise a question or a dispute about these terms, email hello@rident.lk or write to us using the address on the contact page.
